Alright everyone, I'm moving to Virginia on May 6th, so we're having a little get-together on Friday, May 3rd, at the shop. Feel free to stop by!

I'm going down to play in a metal band. They asked me to come down, and it's not going to cost me anything to be there. We're going to try to be on tour by the end of June. I'll be in Yorktown, Virginia; it's like a half hour from Virginia beach. If things don't get moving by August, I'll be back in Pittsburgh. You can't be a rock star in a metal band. Metal sucks. It's worse than Nirvana. So, your choices are to play in shady dive bars with fat groupies or work at the shop with fat groupies... That's a tough one.
Enjoy pursuing your dreams my Jewish friend... I'll do my best to make it to the party!! I might bring my one Metal LP for the occasion..

Good luck, I am sure you will relish the experience (I guarantee you would be sorry later if you did not try it at least). If you do become a rock star please send me a copy of your first hit in cassette, but make sure it is metal ;D!

haha thanks, Mr. Cassette Dick. Yeah, I'll try to release it on cassette and reel-to-reel just for you guys :P. It's still getting recorded digital though, but at least I could record it at 24-bit, 96k!

@Sunny - you have been hitting the books hard if you have not heard that the Pope baptized me as Captain CD because I have so many CDs (or maybe it was OCCD). And by CD they mean Cassette Dicks, but thou feel thine spelling is profane, so I use Captain Cassette Deek instead >:D.

Sorry I didn't make it. I had planned to all week, but then my wife had a last minute schedule change and we don't have a babysitter. No offense, but I think you would scar them, and we don't have the money for years of psychiatric care. Good luck being a music man.
