Title: Pinball this weekend!
Post by: ST-Rider on March 10, 2015, 07:52:12 AM
If you're looking for something to do this weekend, do yourself a favor and head to Carnegie. This weekend they host the Pinball World Championships and it's one of the 2 times the place is open to the public. Over 400 pinball machines, the place is AMAZING!

I should be there, but, the military term is AWOL if I get caught.

Have a pinball machine I would like to sell.... works great  just needs a little TLC and lights replaced. Play is still very good

Make a reasonable offer and it's yours....

I'd love to have a machine, but I'm afraid I'm ignorant as to what a reasonable offer would be. Do you have a range that you're looking for?  Also, I see you have other machines in the picture...what all do you have (just curious)??

Well, either Jim took the pic from eBay or you can see it there right now.   I suspect a local sale would be considerably easier for him and leave plenty of wiggle room, though.

The machine in the pictures isn't mine. Although identical
Mine is covered up in the garage (heated) it is very clean but not restored. All electronics work. Play
is still crisp.

Unsure of what it's worth, a guess would be $1500 to $1750 , with restored ones
going for +$3500.

Ok, thanks. I'd love to have one, but don't have that kind of money to spend on a machine right now. Good luck with it though, and if you dig pinball you should try to make it out to PAPA this weekend.

Thanks, depends on wife's schedule lol

Really like pinball, and had same machine
At a bar I bartended at back in the early / mid '70s at
Ohio U. Lol.

Got the table 15 - 20 years ago as a Christmas present for the family.
It's had some play... By the neighborhood, nieces and nephews and my Dad
when they would visit!

Funny story but my Dad loved that machine and would play for hours when visiting .
He bitched a huge fit when something went wrong with it. Found guy to do a emergency house visit /Repair. Cost me friggin $400 to cajole him to come... To keep my old man happy!

You take trades for the pinball machine? I have a low mileage wife for trade. Stubborn as a mule, but hard to get started. I can pickup and deliver, would need to move the wife before adding a pinball machine. If I had one of those in the house I'd get nothing done.
