I am not necessarily a Carver fan, actually probably best described as having no opinion, but the trip and experience sound wonderful. Are the dates known yet?

... depends on the dates, but would love to have a kit! Be interested in knowing who else is going....

Thanks much. Two weeks is a long time; is a shorter stay permitted and will it work?
-
Absolutely, I began my stay at 3 Days at my first Carverfest in 2009.

I've missed....none. Been to every one. Bob is one of the great gentlemen of audio. Not to be missed by audio fans. This is the premier audio event anywhere. Where else can you build a one off tube amp under the tutelage of a master?

I have made to 10 of them, and I come from Ottawa Canada to NC.
Great time is had by all, what a great extended family.
e have build some nice things at Carverfest, a 20 wpc tubed power amp and a Lucas tubed line stage (preamp)
My fist Carverfest was for 2 days, now I manage to stay for 6/7 days.
So do not wary that you can not make the whole 2 weeks, just make sure that you make it for a couple of days or more, you will enjoy your time there.

For those of you who missed the 275 amp build and 2018 CarverFest missed out. The 275 has gotten great reviews and is a stellar addition to any rig. Ive been rolling tubes and I gotta tell you it's within spittin' distance of the mighty V20. Powerful, accurate and holographic as hell.
