A Sunfire plate with a JL woofer is superior!

Rabbit - which Epik do you have/recommend?

I would replace the Sunfire with a HSU VTH-15H (certainly would go that route  for the home theater),  or even better if the economy picked up and I could cash in some options, a Fathom f113 sub from JL.  The f113 is the sub to beat, IMO,  for under $3K (street price).

Don't have, but have heard Epik.  They are incredibly good bargains.  I agree the F113 is a fantastic sub, but let's get real; MOST folks won't/can't pay $3k for a sub.  Worth it?  Yes.

You can get FOUR Epik Empires for what that Fathom costs:  http://www.epiksubwoofers.com/dualempire.html

They are also AMERICAN MADE products~

This JL mod makes a Sunfire 10x better.  I haven't heard anything but the Fathom that sounded better.

I already have two Sunfire subs.  I don't need to buy more subs.  I am happy to know I can replace the driver when it fails and have it sound better.
Got Carver?

Anyone try to remove the radiant sub and replace with a block off plate?
