A car accident can shake you up pretty good.  That it's your first accident ever, is a credit to your driving.  I think we all have had at least a few in our lifetimes.  Glad you're ok.

Yeah Anders. That's a bad location. That bottleneck there at the tunnel can get a little ugly at times, as you found out the hard way. Lots of speeding up, slowing down, merging, exiting, and entering are going on in that 500 foot stretch. The important thing is you walked away.

He knew all of that which is why he was able to avoid hitting the car in front of him when it stopped suddenly.  The person behind him learned the lesson.  The problem is, you can't control how other drivers handle the issue.  Sooo, avoiding the mess until it's over seems to be the safest option.

I am just glad no one was hurt. 

I have yet to own a car someone didn't hit-usually in the rear because they don't pay attention, are in a hurry, distracted, etc
  We need tougher driving tests-maybe like what they require in some countries in Europe

Estimator was here, double the pain Pepe predicted, but the other party has assumed liability so just need to get it fixed :)

We'll have to fab you up some Mad Max bumpers for that buggy of yours. Smoke screen, oil slick and a rocket launcher too. Good for clearin those traffic jams up. >:D
