New to the forum
« on: December 28, 2013, 09:00:18 AM »
Hi VHF members,

I'm new to this forum. I kind of ran into it looking for a cd player for my vintage setup. That said, I work in Pittsburgh, but live in Ohio. I have my home theater done and decided to setup the room into a music/HT room. I'm not going to use the theater equipment for music, so I decided to go with 2 receivers and 1 set of speakers.  O0 Happy to be here and look forward to some great topic of discussions. Still looking for the cd player.....I'm going to pick up a Nad 512 to hold me over until I pick up a Cary tube or Marantz solid sate.

Walk away man - this is an addiction,  it will eat you up.

That said - welcome to the forum!

(you need tape - get a reel to reel machine next!)

All the best LP's made in the lat 50's and early 60's were made on reel to reel machines.
I have one... An Ampex 300 transport.
