To be quick - I am just using the damn set up a lot.  I have no (significant) regrets from going dual-purpose HT and music.  It sounds as good as I can expect for music,  and amazing for movies.  I find myself using it with Dirac (similar to Audyssey) 95% of the time.  I also have a separate set of filters I can use instead for music, and about 4 levels of stereo (reference stereo, direct, stereo and one other I forget).   Overall very happy - but I need to add pictures of the Dirac and REQ software in action, etc, and I could not today as I was engaged in a Netflix binge watching extravaganza.

So far I have the fronts cut over at 40 Hz.  Hoping to add side speakers that can go that low so I can cut them off there as well. Stay tuned!

I wish they made those mics like regular mics so I could just use a boom stand to get it where it needs to be.

You can buy an adapter from Amazon for around $9 that lets you do this.
