I have an Island 25th Anniversary Masters copy of that album.   It sounds wonderful.   It was pressed in Canada.   I wonder if the masters are up there?   I have read some of that stuff as well.   Evidently when DCC did the Cosmic Thing gold CD, they were slated to do the first album but changed direction when the masters weren't located.
