I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

I just got back from the shop after my first visit and want to thank Tom for his incredible hospitality!

I just wish I could have stayed for the entire night. You guys better get there soon before all the yummy chicken is gone!
I am already making plans to be at next one, and I’ll be staying for the duration!

BTW Tom, I left my Gilmore LP there, I’ll try and stop on the way home from work one night this week to pick it up. I’m really looking forward to spending some more time in front of those ribbons! I’ll have to bring some of my favorite ‘Lounge Lizard’ LP’s!
