I'm listening to the "g/vg" Couldn't Stand the Weather now.   If scorpio ever offers to sell you records, just buy them.   This album is one mark from NM.   I would call it VG++, most sellers would call it EX.   Plus, it is an early copy with handwritten deadwax.   It sounds fabulous.   Even on Record Store Day, I can say this was the best five bucks I've spent on vinyl in some time.

Wife and daughter went to a sleepover...Zeppelin, Beck, Buddy Guy, Black Crowes, Skynyrd and a bunch of other stuff on the jukebox hooked up to the basement rig. This is a blast.

Saturday Night Fever - EX Wally Capitol all four sides.   Dead quiet so far.   Got it for a buck at HPB and will flip it for $20 after I listen to it once.

It pays to read deadwax.   It's already sold.   I sold another today that I paid a buck for and sold for $125.   That'll cover a couple months of thrifting.

congrats on the finds Mark!

Breaking in a new cartridge on the CA table! ....coming along nicely.  CA says 50 hours. I'm on album 45, about half way there lol  ... that stupid tonearm is a royal PITA... since it floats in a magnetic field, none of the adjustments are directly mechanical and there is a certain delayed reaction to set up changes.... but once the sweet spot is found... magic! Worth the aggravation, time/ effort, but only after I find it  lol

Listening to John Abercrombie Current Events... an absolutely fantastic recording.
