Rainman & Rainwomans gear
« on: April 13, 2011, 02:56:16 AM »
Our main system is.. SDA490T cd, CT28 preamp, 2 TFM45 amplifiers, Linn Kaber speakers (ebony cabinet version), Bob Carver design sub licensed to Eosone corp, PS Audio Statement speaker cables, PS Audio Statement I/C's, APC power, PS Audio outlets, 10/3 isolated ground feed. See Pic,
Rainwoman's gear is quite nice as well. She has a pair of Bob Carver's Cinema Ribbon speakers, SDA450T cd player, TFM15 amp, and three different pre amps to choose from (CT23, CT28, CT27) Audioquest speaker cables and I/C's. The Cinema Ribbons are truly amazing and we often hook them up in our main listening room fed with a TFM45.

Very nice setup.

I heard the Cinema Ribbions for the first time at CF'10.  Than again at Kingmans house.  I am very impressed with them.  Someday I might even own a set.
Got Carver?

Yes that pic was taken at CF. I was setting it up when Mr. Carver unboxed his Cinema Ribbons and decided that the best location for them was on top of our Linns. They actually sounded great in that spot, or at least as good as anything can possibly sound in that environment....
