McIntosh Mc2505 power amp $525
« on: June 30, 2011, 08:36:26 PM »
McIntosh Mc 2505 50 watt/channel power amp.  Has glass front panel w/meters and includes pan-loc custom installation brackets.  Also have a companion C-26 preamp for $225 (it needs a new front panel glass).  Two McIntosh original L 12 walnut equipment cabinets are available as well.

Everything is exceptionally clean (no rust, dings, dents, etc.) and all original, with only typical signs of use due to the equipments age.  Rear panel lettering is fully intact.  All knobs, switches and push buttons function properly and the controls are noise free.

Pics are available, but won't post due to the file size.

Everything is available separately or together.  If you don't like the price, all reasonable offers will be considered.

Mac stuff, Sony HDR-F1HD AM/FM/HD tuner, Denon DRS 810 cassette, Denon CDR-W1500 CD recorder, Music Hall MMF-9 w/B&O MMC2, B & O 4002 w/B & O 20 CL, Revox A-77

Oh my God!!   One of my all time favorite amps.   50 w.p.c.  that will easily outperform most 100 watt amps.  :o :o  And the looks of these amps are killer!!    I need to get me another one of these someday.
I realize this is an old post, but, not to me as I just found it now.  ???    Hopefully one the forum members snagged this great amp.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I have an itchy finger.  I need to call Klaus.

Sorry all, but the amp is long gone, along with the cabinet and the C-26 pre-amp.  I'll keep my eyes and ears open for others.

I was too slow.  The price for the remaining pieces was awesome.  I am not surprised they sold very quickly.

For those of you who don't know Klaus or done business with him, he is a class act.

Thanks, Carl.  I still have the Magnum Dynalab FT 101 Tuner-if anyone is still listening to radio after the thread on the demise of FM.
