I needed to resurrect this thread. These amps need more attention. Almost every speaker I've heard on them I had heard on other quality amps and these make them sound better. Granted they ARE $10000 a pair, but still... I am convinced they can even make Bose sound good... Yes Bill, even the L1  :laugh:
These things are stellar! I wish I had the ching... and a wife that would be ok with me spending it!

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Running them on Maggie MG 3.3's tonight.  I have renewed interest in Maggies. Pain to work on though. The Carver tube amps bring them to life.
