MC Cartridge suggestions
« on: September 07, 2011, 02:25:23 PM »
A friend of mine is trading me a Denon DP-47 turntable for some gear I lent him awhile ago.  I'd like to put a Moving Coil cartridge on it as my pre will have MC and MM separate inputs.  My current turntable has a Grado MM on it.  Any suggestions on a MC cart that you use/have used and enjoy?  I know that's a broad questions so let's put a stipulation of $300 new/used or less.

Thanks, Rev

Rev.

You can not go wrong with a new Denon 103R or a used Benz Ace. (I have both)

Or you could just give the T/T to tom to bring to Carverfest, and let me take it home
and I will send you a few US Dollars.

Seriously, if you want to sell it, I am interested, but it has to be before Tom leaves for Carverfest.
I will PM you my phone #

Thanks for the link Zoot Horn, I will probably grab one of those 103R's.  I'm not sure I want to sell it Brian, i've lusted over this table for quite some time and haven't even had time to play it yet.  I'll bring it down to CF to check out.  Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
