A Few LPs For Sale
« on: September 08, 2011, 01:44:04 PM »
Trying to raise some money to buy some speakers.  If anyone is interested any of these, let me know.  Prices are negotiable for Vintage HiFi folks!  There's probably nothing here that you can't find anywhere else, honestly (except maybe the James Brown), but hey - you'd be helping out a fellow geek feed his addiction.  :-) Make an offer on some or all.  Thanks!!

James Brown - Pure Dynamite
King 883 - Original release - Vinyl is in Very Good shape - - the edge of the album pocket is split, but otherwise the cover is in Very Good
condition as well.  This is a very rare LP
$30.00

Duke Ellington Showcase - Capitol Records T679
The cover of this LP is in remarkable shape for being released in the mid-50s.  Vinyl is in Very Good shape.  No skips, etc.
$10.00

Duke Ellington - The 1954 Los Angeles Concert - GNP Crescendo Records 9049 - 1987
This LP was sealed when I got it, and I've only played it once to record it.  The album itself was released in 1987, but the recording is a
live concert put on by the Duke in LA in 1954.  Good stuff.
$5.00

The Rolling Stones - Hot Rocks - 1964 - 1971 - London Records - 60647
Hey - It's the Stones!  Record and cover are both in great shape.
$5.00

The Rolling Stones - Tattoo You - Rolling Stones Records - COC-16052
The record is in excellent shape, as is the cover.
$5.00

The Doors - Waiting for the Sun - Elektra Records - EKS-74024
Cover and vinyl are in great shape
$5.00

The Doors - The Soft Parade - Elektra Records - EKS-75005
Cover is in fairly decent shape, vinyl is in good shape.  Not perfect, but definitely playable.
$5.00

The Doors - Greatest Hits - Elektra Records - EKS-5E-515 - 1980
Obviously a later greatest hits compilation.  Cover and vinyl are pretty good - nothing to write home about, but this is the Doors LP that I
listen to the most, so it's totaly listenable.
$3.00
