I think I am going to go with this card...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121473

$12.99 after rebate and if I compared specs properly about twice as fast as my current one, and this memory...

With the new/used processor, I will spend just about a c-note and should greatly increase my performance.   If these seem to be bad choices for any reason, please let me know.   Thanks for all of your help.

You want at least a 256-bit card...I wouldn't go with this one.

As far as the memory the closet match to what you currently have in there is best.  If you used their memory configuration thing, and this is what came up you're good to go.

Of course to keep your puter speedy keep it clean and don't use Norton/Symantec anything!

I'll keep looking at cards.   More importantly, who's memory configuration thingy?   That sounds useful but I don't know what you are talking about.   Thanks.

New egg has one, and also crucial.com  Sometimes you get a better deal at Crucial for memory.  Links:

http://www.newegg.com/MemoryFinder/

http://www.crucial.com/store/drammemory.aspx

Basically plug in your motherboard info and it finds the memory that's right for you.

Have fun!
