I heard one playing two weeks ago. To my complete and utter shock, they surpassed the Snells.

I hope I can make it out there again before they're gone.

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

There was no subwoof in the path when I played them, and there was plenty of bass.  Those bass panel drivers are to be respected.

They don't go super low, but boy do they sound real!!!! They are my new favorite sounding speakers!!

Best bass i've heard in the shop so far.
Quite tuneful.
They are capable of decent bass as long as the cabinets don't flop in the breeze.
