This a thread dedicated to enabling a usb audio feature in the stock kernel for android 4.0. Basically, this would allow the use of many USB DACs with android devices thereby providing a significant improvement in the audio quality obtainable from an android device.
If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the the page, just above the comment box, there is a star to click which basically shows your interest in this subject and hopefully moves it to the top of googles to-do list.
