I know you are sitting on a treasure trove of equipment.  You just don't want to give any of it up. :)

What you need is a Carver C-1 with that M1.0t to drive the Athena speakers.  That would be kick ass!  Bob says that the C-1 has the best sonic holography of any of his pre's with it incorporated.  Only thing better would be a C-9.

Yeah, the C-1 might be the best choice, I was wanting a C-16, That has been my favorite of the Carver pre-amps..

That is one good preamp.  I do agree with you on that.  But Tom does not have one right now.  Well he has the C-6 but I know no one is taking that one home.   ;D
