Banana Popsicles and Mickey's for everyone!

I'm a HUGE Beasties fan. If you've never heard The Sounds of Science, let me know. There are some choice cuts on there.

He was ahead of the curve on the Tibet thing.   Plus, unlike so many in their genre, the BB took music seriously and learned to play instruments.   Much respect for MCA.

They started as a hardcore punk band, they already knew how to play guitar/bass/drums.  They played with bands I grew up listening to like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, etc.  Their original drummer was a girl named Kate who went on to play drums for Luscious Jackson who put out some pretty good albums.

Being in a hardcore punk band is no guarantee of being able to play an instrument.

I'm sure you're trying to be funny but stick with commenting on what you know.

They definitely started out as a punk group.

You can find rare bootlegs if you dig hard enough.

Search for the song "Egg Raid on Mojo", it's a good example of their punk stuff.

I've forgotten more music than most people know, thank you very much.
