I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Very clean, simple and elegant layout, no subwoofer (a plus towards making the setup simpler and purer sounding IMO), like it a lot.

Thanks guys - sorry about the pictures I just realized how bad the quality is
Kingman - I mainly listen to vinyl but every once awhile I go on a kick where I don't feel like getting up to change sides. I like the music hall especially since it was my start into this hobby. Having said that if I knew what I know now I might have saved up a little more and bought a better quality used table with more upgrade capability etc.
What about you? Mainly vinyl too? If so what kind of table?

Update on speakers:
Newest from a local speaker builder here in Chicago - the Van L Silhouette's. So far they are fantastic and breaking in more and more after each song. Mine are actually pictured on the website - the second set.

...No...vinyl is a small enjoyable part of my perferences. I mainly listen to cd's and streamed music.
