That is a great idea. Just know that lack won't hold much weight. A floor unit like that is fine, but the thick table top part is hollow with cardboard in waves through the middle. Expedit is the same way on the top and bottom. Just don't want to see anyone try and mount this on a wall or some odd thing, and beautiful equipment hitting the deck.
