What would do if you knew you only had 24 hours to live?

I thought it would be easy to answer this,  but not really so for me.   The game is: 24 hours, you know it is inevitable,  but unlike a death-row inmate,  you are outside and can spend some money.  What would you do?  My only clear thought on it is to get in touch with my family and make sure I invest  a solid percentage of hours talking to them and explaining what I recommend they do after I croak,  where everything is, etc.  Praying is there too.   No sleeping for sure.  Net of that,  he only other thought I get is that 24 hours is a very short period of time when examined in this context.

Yeah that isn't an easy question to answer.  I already have written out instructions on how to do various things for my family.  No point in having a conversation like that; better that they have it all spelled out to refer to.

If I had money...honestly I'd just give it all to my kids and Anders to do what they wanted with it.  Everyone needs stuff.  Personally just spending time with them would be all I wanted.  On the other hand..maybe a quick trip to MA to see my oldest friend.  I haven't seen her in about 18 years..and we've been friends for 41 years.  It would be really hard to fit all that into 24 hours I guess.

Not as easy as it sounds; how do you enjoy much of anything if you know ahead of time?

If you know you will die there are no worries about tomorrow,  cause there is none. So that is a plus.  But I agree that being with the family would be part of the deal.  I would aslo eat like a pig that last day.  Would eat the biggest cheeseburger I could find.    And towards the end of the 24 hours I would start a car chase by I79,  see if they can catch me.

Kingman - that is a pretty good plan,  no need to over-complicate things.  Probably open a few Magic Hat #9s to chug while getting all the paperwork in order and listening to the vinyl one last time.

Maybe I should break into an old Victorian home with a nice sounding room and set up my Acoustat X's there and listen till the end.

How about sex, while the Hi Fi is playing.  Add some booze, maybe some contraband (Cuban cigars?), crank up the heat or A/C (depending on the season).  For the motorheads, run that Hot Rod until the engine blows, maybe torch the house and burn the mortgage?

By the way, not to ignore family-invite everyone to the party.

I don't know what I'd do with the first 22, but the last 2 would be spent in the fastest car I could find, and if all goes well, wrapping it around a tree at 23:59.
