Giant Eagle actually has good bacon!!! I just found out the other day. It's sold at the deli counter.
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Just an FYI...
Giant Eagle Market district brand "smokehouse" bacon and natural casing wieners are made by Smith's in Erie. If you aren't familiar with Smith's, they make the best hotdogs. Period. I got a package of the bacon and it was awesome. Hand sliced, not too salty, not slimy, and great smoke taste.
Read about it here http://www.marketdistrict.com/Learn/FoodieFocus/FoodiePage.aspx?PageID=164

Stopped at Chick-fil-let and got me an bacon & egg biscuit this morning.  :P

This is tomato season back here in the woods.
My favorite is tomato from the yard, basil from the yard, (love fresh basil  :P) onion, lettuce, cheese and actually, at home I mostly cook that fake bacon that is made out of tofu or something.  Two minutes in the micro wave and that is some damned good, easy to cook bacon.  Slather that bread with Duke's mayo and pile everything in the middle.
That is good eating.
