Alright everyone, I'm moving to Virginia on May 6th, so we're having a little get-together on Friday, May 3rd, at the shop.  Feel free to stop by!

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

I'm going down to play in a metal band.  They asked me to come down, and it's not going to cost me anything to be there.  We're going to try to be on tour by the end of June.  I'll be in Yorktown, Virginia; it's like a half hour from Virginia beach.  If things don't get moving by August, I'll be back in Pittsburgh.  If they go well, I'll be a rock star!!!  ;) 8) >:D >:D :-* ??? :( ;D >:( >:( 8) ::) :-X :-* :'( ^-^ O0 :police: :(|) :-* :-[ 8) 8) :( >:( ;D 8) :D

You can't be a rock star in a metal band. Metal sucks. It's worse than Nirvana. So, your choices are to play in shady dive bars with fat groupies or work at the shop with fat groupies... That's a tough one.
Enjoy pursuing your dreams my Jewish friend... I'll do my best to make it to the party!! I might bring my one Metal LP for the occasion..
