I was about to post this amp on eBay and thought I would share it here first.   Looking for $650 for it.  In great shape!

I would LOVE that amp, but I need to sell my dynaco and nakamichi amps to afford it!! My dad loves the pre by the way!!
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Ed:

The day I delivered the amp to you, I got home that night and wired a different pre in.  WHAT a difference!   The ALD-1 made a huge difference in quietness and purity of sound.  That pre is pretty impressive - I am glad your Dad is enjoying it. It sure spoiled me.

I may hold on to the DNA-1 until you can buy it - I am in no hurry to get cash for it and it would be great to sell it to a fellow audio geek.

I will keep it in the list for a few more days then remove it.
