1976 Mercedes 300D
« on: December 26, 2013, 10:26:34 PM »
I recently acquired a nice 1976 M-B 300D diesel with low miles 86k!  It spent the last 17 years in a garage and the owner said it was in good running condition when stored.  I have it on ebay right now, but I might be willing to trade it for some high end gear.  Great start for a restoration project or fix it up for a daily driver, I am guessing it should do around $2200 on ebay.  PM me with any offers for trade or a cash price.  Thank you for looking.  Nick

Interesting car.  Car restoration is not my cup of tea.  I can't believe 1976 was 37 years ago!  Good luck with the sale Nick!

I am waiting for my middle kid to move out once he graduates and gets a job so I can get a project car for a couple of years, but I am thinking more like an old Mercedes 450sel 6.9 or an Alfa. This Merc could be fun, the diesel engine and mechanicals are simple to work on.
