Email me if you have something.  I had one of these and sold it - sorry I did.

I know - no need to rub it in.  I bought one way back when I got the Proacs as part of that deal (included a CD transport as well).  Sounded good but was very sensitive to grounds and power quality - it had to have its own power conditioner or sometimes it would not turn on.  So I sold it.

Also looking at this one as a possibility - have heard good reviews,  does higher butt rates:

I've never heard the Superlink DAC or the DAC Magic but I have read the Cambridge Audio DACs have a relatively bright sound signature which may contradict the "mellow" sound you're going for.
Desk:
ObjectiveDAC, Technics SL-1500 w/ Grado Black Cart -> NAD 1000 pre -> Emotiva Airmotiv 4
Bedroom:
Creek 4330R -> DefTech StudioMonitor 450
Home Theater:
Onkyo TX-NR809, Rotel RB-981 -> Boston Acoustics VR-40, VR-12 Center, Soundware surrounds, Velodyne VRP-1200

If your Superlink ended up at the shop it's likely I have yours.  It is very sensitive to ground, I can sometimes tap the case and turn it off or on.  Like Fonzie  :laugh: .  What about looking at a tube DAC?

all audio equipment in PIT passes through babcock blvd at some point,  so who knows.  I did not trade it to Tom,  I sold it with the transport to someone in CMU.

enuf said on the cambridge - if it sounds bright ti must be right, for SD that is.  will look at options.  the tube DAC is a good idea - thanks for suggesting it.
