Stereo attenuator/amplifier

(1/3) > >>

Slim-Shaddy:
The zone 2 outs on my new preamp are fixed at 2 volts. I need a piece to run between the preamp and amp that will not only attenuate the signal, but also amplify it. At the fixed output level it's moderately loud, but I could see myself wanting it louder, hence the need for amplification.

Any ideas?????

Thanks,
Sparky

Sir Thrift-a-Lot:
Would a headphone amp do the trick?   No idea how many volts they run at.

MacGeek:
Got a spare integrated amp around?

bmwr75:
Another preamp.  Your current preamp is basically sending a line level signal to the second zone.

SunnyDaze:
If you need something in the meantime, I have an Onkyo Integra A-8067 that I'm not using. You can borrow it until you find something (another preamp) that solves your issue.
