I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

They were not a good match for my system.  The PS Audio sounds better driving these ribbons!

When I change speakers again I may go back to tubes, maybe, perhaps. 

So if I pull on the string,  Rev is really guilty here, for he sent me the classified ad for the Infinitys. :P
