Pepe-Per the manual, it appears those low frequency towers may use over damped woofers, which will sound like crap with out the active crossover.  Within the crossover function, the contour controls will likely adjust the degree of low frequency boost to the woofers.  There were a number of speakers companies using over damped woofs in the 1980s.  An RTA and some pink noise will allow you to measure the set up once the x-over arrives, to fine tune the base boost.  I have one I can bring to the next demo (hint hint)

I almost forgot, but regarding the power question, as you know even just a 3 db boost to the woofs will double the required amplifier power.  You may need a bit more boost than that (3 db isn't much), depending on where the standing waves are in your room.  If you are already concerned about the power sufficiency to the woofer towers of your 200 watt amp, I'll guess that 300 to 500 watts at 4 ohms may be required to get to life like levels, if you listen that way.  I'll further speculate the Infinities can handle all the power you can throw at them.
