I had the pleasure of listening to these amps. They are amongst the quietest tube amps I have EVER heard!!

Mostly out of curiosity, do the receivers have the cases/cages?   I have a nice tube amp already that is semi hidden because of the vulnerability of the tubes.   I would only want another tube device if I could make it my daily driver, and I could only make it my daily driver if it had a case.

I'd be all over the fisher, except that I bough an Eico HF-81 today.

@SToL - I have a metal cabinet that might fit the Fisher.

My X-101C came in it and am not using the metal cabinet anymore.

Nick, the SC and the Fisher look stellar!  I use a Fisher X-101-ST which is also referred to as an X-1000 console every day in my little office rig.  Sounds fabulous!  I had McIntosh Cabinets make me a real nice replica cabinet for my Fisher.  The original cabinet weighed about half as much.

What kind of power tubes in that SC?  Is it tube rectified?

Yes, tube rectified and 12 watts per channel.  I am motivated to move these, I have much bigger projects to fund.

My son has the MX-110 and the MC-2105 in the rig in his apartment.  He also has my Yamaha YP-800 turntable with a Denon 103R cartridge.  He's living large!!
