Modified Philips CD80
« on: July 01, 2014, 09:33:20 AM »
Very good condition Philips CD-80 with the aftermarket Isodrive (large puck that sits on the cd in the tray) and isolated power supply (transformer moved and isolated with copper sheet).  I still have yet to hear anything that can beat this.  The DAC is absolutely amazing and I have never come across a cd that it won't play.  It weighs in at close to 40lbs.  Comes with original working remote, box and packing materials.  $500

Looks nice but I wonder how it compares to my lowly 14 bit Maggie that I modified.
