We will give this a go.Hi to all on the list and i would like to put my 2cents in when i can to help anyone out that i can.
I have some old space heaters and alot of homemade speakers.
R&D on speakers are H&B DESIGN

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.
