I'm buying new projector, screen, and maybe sub
« on: March 22, 2016, 02:15:12 PM »
Hey guys!
I'm buying a new projector, a Benq 1075 , a cheapo 120 inch electric 16x9 from Homegear, and maybe a new sub from Bic, or I may add another sub to my existing one.
I will be selling my old , but nice Epson dip and 100 inch 4x3 Elite Screen.
I may need someone to hang the screen , set up the ir remote. I can pay in gear,CDs , dj speakers , or mentioned gear.
If you are super handy and interested let me know at toddnkaya@att.net
Thanks,
 Todd

Electrician is coming today !!😀😀👍👍👍👍
I am so excited !! The BenQ 1075 is reviewwd to be an incredible machine at under a $1,000!  I got a great deal at $545 refurbished.
It will be great to drop the screen remotely, and it should drop automatically when I turn on the PJ. Not sure how that works yet.
I will be adding a second sub , a Polk 10 inch next week .

Just added a 10 nick Polk subwoofer! Huge increase in base compared to the Andrew jones 8 inch. Next up , is running both at the same time. That should be earth shattering I hope!😀😀👍👍

Bass, not base.

loving my screen , BenQ 1075 and my bigger subwoofer .10 inch Polk
The only thing is I never got the picture centered and filling the screen perfectly. It's close . I had a friend help me try to dial it in , and he got it looking alot better. The projector may not be mounted perfectly.
Anyway, I am not too anal ,and I'm ok where it stands.
I do need to get a splitter so I can run the second subwoofer which is in the room but not hooked up.
The Polk is a beast for a cheaper 10 inch sub, but adding another 8 inch Pioneer can only help.

Just picked up a Klipsch 12hg !! $125 on Craigslist!
12 inch down firing , 400 watt Bash Amp
This thing is very powerful!! Not the tightest bass, but digs pretty low , and shakes the room , you can feel it bass.
Super happy with this sub for a while .
Missed a $200 HSU mk3.3 that normally sell for hundreds more used.
Then missed a SVS sealed sub for $270, but he sold me the Klipsch. It’s All Good!! $125 fits my budget better right now anyways .
May be selling my Polk 10 inch sub if anyone is interested.
But I may try to run two subs , but was not successful when I tried it . Tried a spitter .
