This is a two-fer. First the quick one:  on top is the Technics M270X.  This unremarkable deck has one redeeming quality:  it can operate as a DBX processor.  So I bought it exclusively to play DBSX encoded LPs,  like the one SirThirftaLot gave me.  I listen to that LP once every 8 months,  that is the one time I turn on the Technics.  Other than that,  this is a crappy tape deek.

Below is the amazing Nakamichi CR-4A.  Wow, what a deck.  While I am married to the Tascam 122,  I have an affair with this Nak. Beautiful sound,  including that amazing Nakamichi bass. I am sure I will sell this dec someday,  but in the meantime,  it keeps my Tascam on alert.  This one was modded and tuned by the notable NakDoc,  but I don't have as much invested in it as the Tascam.  This deck rewards you if you take time to use the built in tones to set bias properly etc.  Recommended.
