In the days of old we had National Record Mart and Oasis, great places to pop in and buy brand new records. Not many places offer new records. I was searching discogs for a certain artist and found one of the sellers was in Pittsburgh. I never knew about these guys.

I contacted them to see if pickup was an option and got a quick reply it was. I was told not to place the order on discogs, just come down.
I went down today and it was great. It's not really a store, but they have no issue with the public stopping by. Friendly people and they seem to love showing you around, answering questions, or shooting the breeze. Their prices on discogs are a bit higher than other sellers, but you don't get to see what you're buying with other sellers. I picked up four records and the total was about 15% less than what was listed on discogs and no shipping charges or tax.
During my conversation with Gregg, he said Jim's records on Liberty Ave is making a comeback. Not sure I remember that place.
Anyhow, it's nice to know there's another place to get new vinyl locally.
