Charged Vinyl
« on: January 24, 2010, 08:58:42 PM »
I'm sure this topic can easily be searched on Google, but why not have a thread on it?? How do I get the static out of my records? I changed mats from felt to a mat I found on epay made out of some plasticky stuff and found no improvement... any simple solution?
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Use a zero-stat gun.  They run like $100 on amazon.com but they do work magic.
