WTB - drive in theater speakers
« on: September 29, 2018, 04:34:18 PM »
I went to an ice cream shop in Blairsville and the guy is using a pair as outdoor speakers.   I thought it was amazingly cool.   If anybody sees a pair cheap, grab them for me.   They don't have to be in working condition as I will likely replace the guts anyway, I just want them to be structurally solid so they will clean up okay.   Thanks.

Mark,

There was someone on CL selling a number of them.  I don't know if they are still posted, because I got tired of seeing the ad and deleted it.

Thank you.   I see the ad.   I'm hoping for the polls as well.   I'm going to shoot him an email now.   I guess I should have thought to check CL myself.

Maybe I should just go the repro route since I want to throw my own driver in anyway.   It would save lots of time and effort cleaning it up.

From the ad, I can't tell what the driver mounting options are; how is it finished inside?
