Wanted: cheap soundbar

My stepson is looking for a soundbar because he can't bring a system in with his room mates and his TV speakers sound bad.   I know this isn't really a soundbar crowd but who knows, maybe one of you have one kicking around that you want to get rid of.   Thanks in advance.

Amazon has soundbars really cheap; that might be his best bet.  When I say cheap, I mean $40 and up.
