I contacted britaudio as suggested by schwarcw, but they do not repair, only re-fit/re-wire new tonearms.

I was afraid of that when I looked at their website.  I was hopeful that he would suggest somebody that would.

Thanks for trying. Unfortunately he didn't make any suggestions. I may have found a guy in Cleveland from another member so I'll see if that lead results in an operational TT.
