Mytek Brooklyn DAC
« on: October 13, 2019, 10:32:19 PM »
A friend loaned me a Mytek Brooklyn DAC to play with. It's from around 2017? but compared to the Schiit Bifrost USB I've been using, it's pretty awesome!. It is soooooo much more musical than the Schiit. There is lots of air around all the instruments, if you know what I mean. Seriously, I really didn't believe that files and CDs could sound even this good lol. Not up to my tt, but they do sound MUCH better!  Going to Capital Audio Fest the first couple of days of November... can't wait! Going shopping lol! Have a chance to borrow a Phison Audio PD2 from another friend... but even used that thing is pretty expensive. We shall see after DC.
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...
