STaL lent me a pair of Heresy's and this amp loved them, but my ears find horns harsh.

What about the Rectilinears you bought from me?   I recall they were pretty easy to drive.

I can't find a sensitivity spec, but big boxes with AlNiCos usually equals 90 db plus SPL.

I recall no issues driving the highs, the lows got mudded up. I run crank them in the garage with an older Denon HTR and have no complaints about them at all.
