Apple/TIDAL isues
« on: March 07, 2023, 09:42:06 AM »
Has anyone had relatively recent issues when using Apple (iPad in particular) products to play TIDAL?  In particular, an accumulation of so called "videos" that consume memory, can't be opened to see what they are and can only be deleted by deleting and reinstalling the app, or left swiping the entry to delete them one by one.

I have gone so far as taking the iPad to the Apple store and completely stripping and reinstalling the operating system, which solved nothing.  Since my iPad is an early version, I even bought a new one (Best Buy sale), which also solved nothing.

Tidal support was useless, telling me nothing that isn't already posted on their website.  They did note they are aware of the problem and working on a fix, but don't know when that will be.  When asked when they became aware of the issue, or what may have changed in their system, I got no direct answer.

Since TIDAl now has a Spotify type free option, I may start sending my money to Qbuz; 24/192 without MQA for $13/month
