Bottlehead Paramour 2A3 SE Amps / Foreplay Preamp

For sale are two Paramour 2A3 single ended tube amps and a Foreplay tube preamp from Doc Bottlehead.  I did not build these, but I cleaned up the wiring, added better power supply caps and coupling caps in the preamp.  Also added a hum eliminating circuit to the amps.  New tubes throughout, nice looking pieces.
I used to use these with my Klipsch Cornwall's and La Scala's and they were a good match with highly efficient speakers like those.  See bottlehead.com for more info.

Very nice kits, not for the novice but I have heard these amps and they are very nice.  With efficient speakers they can sound very good.  How about some more pics?  I like the colors!!

The Klipsch speakers are long gone.  Using Altec 19's and JBL these days, as well as a rotation of other vintage and newer stuff.  They're not so fussy about amp matching like the Klipsch were

Yep everything arrived and is good shape. I have a little pair of Boston Acoustics HD 5 speakers and I hooked them up to test the Bottle Heads. Even they sound really nice on them.

I'm thinking I might spring for a pair of Lovercraft Nugi's for these amps.
