This system sounds way above average!

Petey Petey built Dynaco ST-70, Jolida Pre(Chris), Philips CD-80(Ron),Musical Fidelity X-10D(Sean)( just for good measure), Sunfire True Sub MK II( Me),  Von Schweikert VR-1's( Dave) with River Current Cables( Ryan) and CarverAUDIO interconnects( James). This is the featured system for this weeks meeting. It will not disappoint!
GREAT SOUNDING SYSTEM!!!

That's an amazing system.  I have heard most of the components.  The shop is living large!

I'll second that! those Von Schweikert VR-1's sound spectacular!!

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

I agree, the Von Schweikert VR-1's are impressive little speakers.......especially paired up with the Carver sub.

Tell Gunter I am sorry I kept him up so late with the week long emergency meetings.  He looks as tired as I felt when I got back home to NY.  He'll get his second wind I'm sure!  That was one "wonder" dog, or should we be saying "wunder" dog?!?!?
