Looking for digital converter box...
« on: May 25, 2010, 03:00:08 PM »
Anyone have a new or used digital converter box they want to get rid of?  I have basic basic cable and was wondering if this unit will give me less, the same or more channels...   Looking for an economical price, I believe new ones went for about $50...

Thanks,
George

The converter box from comcast (DTA) still needs to be activated, and you have to have expanded basic to use it. I don't know if that's what you are looking for or if you are looking for a over the air converter. Just thought you'd like the additional info.
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.
