Today was a great day for audio equipment.
« on: September 24, 2010, 08:07:06 PM »
Today I was able to acquire a whole bunch of great audio equipment.
First I went to see Tommy, I owed him a few bucks, so off to pay him. When I get there, I paid him for what I owed him, and he made me a great deal on a pair of NAD 2200 PE power amps, yes a PAIR.
These are capable of serious hi end watts per channel. In bridged mono they hit 1600 watts @ 4 ohms of dynamic headroom!!!!! EACH..
Also from Tommy I got a Myryad T-20 CD player, serious hi end Cd playback, this thing is fantastic.
After coming home from Tommy's I talked to the Greek, I was able to purchase from him a beautiful PAIR of Denon POA-6600A mono block amps, 260 watts per ch. each @ 8ohms, capable of 1,100 watts at 1 ohm!!!!!
Also I came home to find on my porch a package from fed ex, that contained a couple of rare Sony Esprit pieces. A TA-S7 integrated amp and a CDP-S7 CD player. These differ from Sony ES,in that they were not made for the U.S. market. Esprit series are basically the same. Different name..
Also from Tommy, little Mikey got a rare and awesome Philips DFA-980 integrated amp.. A very sweet piece.
So the Audio gods were good to Mikey today!!!!!

A big thank you to Tommy and The Greek...
