More gear followed me home today.
« on: October 03, 2010, 05:51:15 PM »
Today I was followed home by a Onkyo Integra M-504 power amp, and a Sony TA-E2000 ESD pre-amp. Nice gear, Now, I just have to figure out what to do with it.. I will add some pics later.

No, they do not suck.
I will be testing out with some very good competition.
Head to head test, against a pair of Denon POA-6600A mono blocks, Sunfire 300x2, NAD 2200 PE, Phase Linear DRS-900, And maybe a few others. If I can get them out of the closet..

Omg. I am jealous. I have not even had the pleasure of listening to anything close to most of those components. You are a lucky guy. I am so excited since I am starting out. I hope to get to where some of you guys are. With tom's help of course. :) I love new things to play with. I may have to go to vintage high-fi sooner than later now. -currently rockin out to led zep-

PS - If you DO decide to get rid of that 504, can I have dibs on it (unless little Mikey already staked his claim)? I would not mind bi-amping the Mk-III's.

I will be selling some of these amps. I want to give Tom first dibs, because I owe him some favors. You have second dibs on the Onkyo.
Also, since you want to bi-amp, I have a great sounding PAIR of NAD 2200 PE amps. These are very good amps with huge headroom.. You can also bridge these and have a great pair of mono blocks.
If you are interested in the NAD's send me a PM. Maybe we can work out a deal.

It seems like Tom really wants the NAD's.

Keep me posted on the 504. I don't know if he's ever had one to play around with. Maybe you should sell him yours, then he can use it as a guinea pig before he recaps mine! :)
