A)   Well, of course it's my opinion.   That's why I said "I think".

B)   Judas Priest would still sound like Judas Priest even if they wore polyester jumpsuits.

Yeah, it is very campy like a lot of 80's metal bands.  It's meant to be.  Operatic almost in his approach.  Is or was he a satanist.  Absolutely not, none of these bands are or were.  He and Halford probably have the most recognizable high vocal range.  Amazing since they're both in their 60's or close to it.

Jack Walrath "Bees"  via cable music channels (Music Choice) - piping it through my Denon 4520Ci and the Polks.  I can almost detect the compression artifacts without sweating,  but it still sounds ok.  Trailer park behavior?  maybe.
